MIXMOVE® is committed to protect its customers and website users´ privacy and has therefore developed and adopted the policy and practices described herein.

This Policy explains why and what information about you will be collected by MIXMOVE® when you visit our website at www.mixmove.io and when you contact MIXMOVE® by sending an email, filling in the contact form or subscribe our blog.

At MIXMOVE® we are committed to use your data only for the purposes described. We’ve adopted a number of technical and organizational security measures in order to protect personal data against unauthorized disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, processing or unauthorized access, as well as against any other form of illicit treatment.

 

Who we are

MIXMOVE® is a software and services company that provides a SaaS solution for supply chain collaboration that redefines transportation and logistics.

Since 2018, MIXMOVE is established with offices in Norway and Portugal.

How and when MIXMOVE® collects your personal data

We only collect information about you that is necessary for us to allow you to use the website or contact us, and only to the extent specifically provided in this Policy.

Your personal data can be collected and processed in the following circumstances:

  1. For the purposes of concluding and executing a contract, in particular when acquire a MIXMOVE® software.

  2. Through MIXMOVE® website when you (i) contact us, (ii) submit an employment application, (iii) subscribe to our blog and the company news, giving us your express and prior consent to use your personal data.

  3. Through indirect collecting – using Google Analytics.

MIXMOVE® also uses cookies on the website for problems solving, statistics, guarantee of quality and for monitoring the system security.

Why we process your personal data

MIXMOVE® will only process your personal data when we have a legal basis to do so. The legal basis will depend on the reasons we have collected and need to use your personal data for. We may process your personal data because:

  • for contract execution and pre-contractual procedures, when the processing of personal data is necessary for the execution and management of the contract concluded or about to be concluded with MIXMOVE®;

What purpose can your personal data be used

Clients Management

If you are a representative of our current or potential client, vendor or business partner, we may process your personal data to organize the approval, processing and signing of contracts, acts, invoices and other contractual documentation; to promote our new products, works and services; to confirm the high level of our works and services; to invite you to the meetings and events or organize them.

We will process your personal information if it is necessary for the performance of a contract with us or if it is required for us to comply with any legal obligations. If it is not necessary to process your personal data for either of these reasons, we will process it as it is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests in ensuring we can provide the best service possible.

Website Usage

As a website visitor, you don’t need to provide any personal data to use MIXMOVE® website. However, we have statistical information regarding your use of the website in aggregate and anonymous from, via Google Analytics.

Marketing & Communication

Your data will be collected and used for Marketing purposes (communications, events, webinars, clients use cases, datasheets, services and other information that we consider relevant), in the exact terms selected by you.

Recruiting

During the Recruitment and selection process, MIXMOVE® collects and processes personal data from its candidates, for the purpose of the eventual contract celebration. In case of a spontaneous application, they are subject of analysis, in which MIXMOVE® requests express consent to keep them on our database for a certain period of time (up to 2 years) in the expectation of a future professional opportunity.

 

What your rights are regarding the information collected and processed

MIXMOVE® guarantees the applicability and fulfilment of all the rights of the holder of the personal data provider in the General Regulation on Data Protection and national legislation in force.

This way, about the legislation grants, you may exercise the following rights:

  • Right of access: You may request MIXMOVE® to confirm if information about you is processed. If such is the case, you will receive access to your information.

  • Right of rectification: If our information about you is incorrect, you may request MIXMOVE® to rectify your information. This includes the right to have incomplete information completed, taking into account the purpose of the processing.

  • Right to erasure: You may request MIXMOVE® to erase your information, for instance if the information is unlawfully processed, or if you have withdrawn your consent.

  • Right to restrict processing: You may request MIXMOVE® to restrict the processing of your information, if (i) the information is inaccurate, (ii) the processing is unlawful, (iii) you need us to retain the information after the retention period for a legal claim, or (iv) you have objected to the processing and a verification of our legitimate interests is pending.

  • Right to data portability: You may request MIXMOVE® to provide you with an electronic file of your information, or to transfer your personal data to a third party if such is technically feasible.

You also have the right to submit a complaint to a supervisory authority- (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados – www.cnpd.pt or www.datatilsynet.no).

For the purposes of exercising the above rights, you should contact MIXMOVE® through the email: artur.alves@mixmove.io.  We will answer your requests within a maximum of 30 days, except in cases of more complex requests. If you request us to delete some or all of your personal data, some of the requested services may not be provided to you, and MIXMOVE® will keep the personal data necessary to fulfill your legal obligations. Please exercise your rights wisely and note that abuse of rights may entail your liability.

 

How your data is retained

MIXMOVE® reserves the personal data of the holders only for the period strictly necessary for the purpose. In certain cases, the law requires the rendition of data for a specific period, in the case of data necessary for informing the Legal Tax Authority, which is kept for 10 years, in accordance with current legislation. When there is no specific legal obligation, the data will be processed only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and preserved.

 

Who has access to your information

MIXMOVE® transmits your personal data only when necessary for the purposes described above, in particular for the provision of services requested by you.

MIXMOVE® may, exceptionally, transfer your personal data to third countries (outside the EEA – European Economic Area). In such cases, MIXMOVE® will ensure that data transfers are contractually bound by the same terms and conditions as the processing of personal data, being prohibited to use, transfer, disclose or record the personal data of the holder for any purpose other than for which they were specifically contracted (or without their consent, as applicable).

MIXMOVE® will disclose personal information where required by law or legal process, for the administration of justice, to protect your vital interest, for investigations by law enforcement or regulatory bodies, to protect and defend MIXMOVE® property and legal rights, to protect the personal safety of MIXMOVE® website or (mobile) app users, or by order of a valid injunction from a court or law enforcement agency.

Even considering MIXMOVE® security endeavors, our users also play an important role regarding the security of their personal data. The security measures applied on your assets or the assets of Your company, as well as your behaviors when using these assets are crucial for maintaining personal data secure. Actions such as defining a weak password to access our services, not locking your laptop or mobile device when you left it unattended, or using public assets to login on our website, all pose a risk. This way, we ask you to take all the necessary precautions in order to avoid security breaches.

 

Children’s privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
