The context
Elkem develops silicones, silicon products and carbon solutions by combining natural raw materials, renewable energy and human ingenuity. With a strong track record since 1904, its global team is more than 7,000 people.
The story between Elkem and MIXMOVE started in 2017, when Elkem was conducting a project of integration logistics management systems called “LDI” (Logistics Data Integration).

Our solution
To address their business challenges, Elkem integrated their logistics systems (TMS and WMS) with MIXMOVE X-Track. This integration facilitated a range of benefits for Elkem, including improved operational efficiency through shared data and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a common dashboard, real-time visibility across carriers and warehouses, an elimination of redundant tasks and data exchange, enhanced planning and execution capabilities, and the potential for reallocating their workforce to value-added activities through digitalisation processes.
