Despite a turbulent 2020, we have expanded our team with several new members. They are all located in different places around Europe and we are excited to work with more different countries and cultures. We have hired new people in sales, product management and the development department and are looking forward to strengthening in our team extensively. Here is an introduction of the newest MIXMOVE team members!
Allard Peeters is our new VP of Global Sales. He is based in the Netherlands and has previously worked for Alpega, MPO and Blujay. We asked Allard about his view on the current logistics industry:

Arjan Kerkhoff joined the sales team in 2020, as Sales Director in The Netherlands. He is responsible for the Benelux region. Arjan has extensive experience in global supply chain & SaaS sales, and he has previously worked for well-known companies like Maersk, Metapack and PostNL.

In the beginning of 2021, we expanded our reach into Germany as well, and welcomed Andreas Trägner as our Sales Director. Andreas has a solid experience from working with sales and logistics and has previously worked for Alpega, Transporeon and Descartes.

Our new VP of Product Management is Karen Schmikl. Karen is originally from South Africa but is now based in Austria. She has extensive experience in product management and has previously worked in companies such as Alpega and Sage. We are honoured that she wanted to join the MIXMOVE team and help us develop our solution even further.
Luis Gutman is our new VP of development. He is originally from Brazil but moved to Portugal is 2018. He will be working out of our Lisbon office. Luis has over 20 years of IT experience and has worked in many different industries. He is passionate about digital transformation and agility.

We have also onboarded a new software developer, Alex Souza. He will also be working out of the Lisbon office. We asked him what motivated him to join MIXMOVE: «I am very happy to have been selected to work with the MIXMOVE. I enjoy working with product development, keeping myself updated with programming technologies and expanding my knowledge."
