As the biggest national company operating in the Portuguese less-than-truckload (LTL) market, Transporta/GO! Express & Logistics boasted a staff of 250 people, 210 vehicles, 8 distribution platforms, and 2 cross-docking terminals – processing an average of 10.000 shipments per day.
However, the company faced many organizational challenges. They previously relied heavily on manual processes and activities like processing bookings from clients, planning operations, process integration with partners and customers. Additionally, Transporta lacked the tools to manage key metrics of the business in real-time. This required a lot of manual work, which was very costly.
